Farhan plans early retirement

TV presenter and Master of Ceremonies Muhammad Farhan, 32, is pondering an early retirement to spend more time with his autistic son.

"I want to retire at the age of 40. I will spend most of my time at home with my sons and do gardening," he told The Jakarta Post while attending Executive Night 2002 at Mid Plaza Hotel and Apartments in South Jakarta on Friday.

Farhan has been working hard recently to earn Rp 1 billion a year to ensure a comfortable retirement.

Farhan is presenter of Trans TV's Tebak Harga, a price quiz show. He is also a Hard Rock FM radio broadcaster who runs the Good Morning Hard Rockers program, in which he pairs up with MC/presenter Indy Barens from Monday to Friday.

He used to be a presenter of Indosiar's Pesta variety show.

A father of two sons, Rizki, who is autistic, and Bisma, Farhan said that he was happy with his job.

"Rizki's health compels me to plan an early retirement," he said.

Farhan is an actor in the TV drama, Ketika Cinta Harus Memilih (When love must choose) and TV comedy Spesial Pakai Telor (Special, with egg).-- JP
