Fake money destroyed

YOGYAKARTA: More than 4,000 bottles of alcoholic drinks,
illegal drugs and 300 sheets of counterfeit money were destroyed
by Yogyakarta Police and prosecutors in an operation on
Wednesday.

Drugs, including 136 grams of dry hashish and lexsotan pills,
were among items destroyed in a field in the Umbulhardjo area.

All the items were evidence from criminal cases that had
already been ruled on by judges in the province, Yogyakarta
Prosecutor's Office chief Achmadi said. -- JP
