Fair chance for juniors
I read with interest your editorial Wasted talent, Sept. 30. It is not surprising that this country has a great number of unemployed university graduates.
One of the causes of this unemployment is that a number of senior government officials are holding more than one positions. One minister is even said to hold more than 10 positions. This has caused me great concern.
How could one official, even a senior one, be able to handle so many jobs at the same time efficiently and effectively?
Why don't they separate the jobs and responsibilities to give juniors a chance to use their talents? In this way, everyone can focus their attention on one particular job, and help reduce unemployment.
