Express Taxi apologizes

With regards to the letter by Ms. Maimunah published in The Jakarta Post on July 11, 1995, under the title Taxi service, the management of PT Express Transindo Utama would like to make the following comments.

First of all, we would like to apologize for the failure on our part to render the best service to you, our customer, something that is not always easy.

Our company has taken the necessary actions against the concerned driver and our staff member who received your complaints. And at the same time we also would like to warn the customers to always take care of their luggage when using any of our taxis.

We are grateful for your information about the inappropriate taxi meter, but it would be more helpful if you could also provide us with the date of the incident and the number of the taxi.
