Experience with fitness center

It is well known that Clark Hatch is an international-class fitness center providing quality fitness facilities and service. However, this was not so for me and other members of Clark Hatch in the Kusuma Chandra Apartments. Since mid-December 2001, without any prior notice from Clark Hatch, I was no longer permitted to use the facilities because the said fitness center was no longer managed by Clark Hatch. Apparently other members of the Clark Hatch at the Ambhara Hotel had the same experience, receiving no prior notice of the management change.

I contacted the staff of the Clark Hatch at the Pavilion Apartments by telephone to ask for an explanation and to demand that mine and others' membership fees be refunded. However, they were unable to give me a satisfactory answer.

Later, Terje Nielson, a former Clark Hatch representative who is now working for the new management of the fitness center in the Ambhara Hotel, invited us to discuss the matter. We had expected some sort of a satisfactory settlement at that time. But all he did was explain to us the dispute within Clark Hatch, blaming Clark Hatch International for the problem. He did promise us that he would discuss the issue with the board of directors of PT Clarkindo Hatch Nusantara, which received our membership fees, and get back to us. Yet, to date we have not received any reply.

We regret the unprofessional and irresponsible conduct of Clark Hatch. Imagine, 125 members who each paid a membership fee of Rp 1,500,000. How much money did they make? A fraud? I don't know.
