Expats must add value

I am writing in reference to your previous articles on expatriates. Simply, expats should be here to add value. If they don't add value, get rid of them. "Adding value" is no vague term.

Expats add value if they contribute actively to local goods and services rather than imports, or if they find a more efficient resource to efficiently beat competition or introduce a system to improve the service sector. It is important these expats are treated accordingly for their contribution to society and the visas of their children should therefore be renewed for free.

Expats who provide on-the-job-training so that productivity increases are also valuable assets. They should be exempt from paying the Rp 250,000 per head departure tax to travel out of the country.
