JAKARTA (JP): An exclusive housing complex is planned to be built on a 750-hectare plot in Parung, Bogor, some 26 kilometers south of here.

The complex, which will be developed by PT Kuripan Raya and have two natural lakes for its landmarks, is to be called Telaga (lake) Kahuripan.

Herman Soedarsono, vice president of the company, said yesterday that 270 units have been sold. "But the official launching will be on Sept. 20," he said.

He said that the houses will be built in four stages, which will be completed within a period of 10 to 12 years.

As many as 1,000 houses, including the 270 houses already sold, will be constructed in the first stage. "We are selling both houses and plots covering a total of 120 hectares of land," he said.

The houses, priced between Rp 60 million and Rp 173 million each, will each stand on plots measuring between 120 square meters and 300 square meters. The plots are being offered at between Rp 250,000 and Rp 600,000 per square meter.
