Ever Shine earns $11.5m

JAKARTA (JP): Textile and garment producer PT Ever Shine Text
recorded an unaudited net profit of Rp 27.4 billion (US$11.5
million) for 1996, up 13 percent from 1995's net profit of Rp
24.2 billion.

The company announced sales of textiles and garments rose 13
percent to Rp 180.4 billion with textile accounting for 83
percent of this. In 1995 sales totaled Rp 162.5 billion.

Domestic sales accounted for 65 percent or Rp 119.9 billion
and exports for 35 percent or Rp 64.1 billion.

Ever Shine's total assets increased 28 percent to Rp 374.9
billion from 1995's Rp 292.3 billion. The asset increase was
because its bought PT Primarajuli Sukses and PT Mingtak Niaga
Jaya and the procurement of machinery. (09)
