Esmaco, Bhuwanatala tie up

JAKARTA (JP): Property company PT Bhuwanatala Indah Permai has
appointed Singapore's Esmaco Pte Ltd to maintain and manage its
Indonesian shopping centers.

Bhuwanatala announced yesterday that under a cooperation
agreement signed in Singapore earlier this month, Esmaco would
begin maintaining and managing the Megamal Pluit shopping complex
in Jakarta.

Bhuwanatala, which is controlled by President Soeharto's son
Bambang Trihatmodjo, also owns and operates the Bandung Indah
Plaza building which is Bandung's largest shopping mall.

Esmaco is a joint venture between DBS Property Services Pte
Ltd and Housing and Development Board.(hen)
