Ernst & Young no newcomer
Thank you for covering the story on Ernst & Young, Hanadi, Sarwoko $ Sandjaja on page eight of The Jakarta Post on Feb. 19, 1999, titled Ernst & Young tie up with local firms.
However, we need to inform you there is an inaccuracy in the article.
Ernst & Young first established its operations in Indonesia in 1968 and has been associated with Iman Sarwoko & Sandjaja since 1975. In October 1998, Sarwoko & Sandjaja, Ernst & Young combined with partners of Hanadi, Sudjendro & Rekan. The combination brought about the new name of Ernst & Young, Hanadi, Sarwoko & Sandjaja. Thus, Ernst & Young did not recently enter into an alliance with two local firms, as reported.
