Ericsson touts new phone

JAKARTA (JP): The Swedish-based telecommunications company, Ericsson Indonesia, launched on Friday a new model in its mobile phone collection, the Ericsson A2618s.

The company said the new phone was designed for young and style-conscious people. Its colorfully-designed front and back covers are changeable

The new phone supports the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and can access both GSM 900 and GSM 1800 frequencies.

The Ericsson A2618s can also display pictures and graphics downloaded from the company's mobile internet web page http://www.mobileinternet.ericsson.com using a PC. (cst)
