Envoys present credentials

JAKARTA: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received on Monday the letters of credential of newly appointed ambassadors to Indonesia from Algeria and Zimbabwe in a state ceremony at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

The letters were presented by Algerian Ambassador to Indonesia Hamza Yahia-Cherif and Zimbabwean Ambassador to Indonesia Alice Mageza, marking the official start of their duties in the country.

After the ceremony, the two ambassadors visited the President who was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Sudi Silalahi and State Secretary Yusril Ihza Mahendra.--JP
