Envoy promotes coral reefs

AMBON, Maluku: Australian Ambassador Allan R. Taylor promised
to help advertise the beauty of Bandaneira coral reefs to his and
other countries, Antara reported yesterday.

"I've seen the beauty of the Bandaneira sea park, its marine
wealth...they are really a sunken treasure of Maluku that has to
be promoted," Taylor told Governor Akib Latuconsina on Wednesday.

Taylor, who is in town to commemorate the deaths of
Commonwealth troops during World War II, said he would "support
efforts to promote the sea park, especially because not many
tourists come here". (swe)
