Englishwoman's body unclaimed

BANDUNG: Hasan Sadikin Hospital doctors said yesterday that nobody has claimed the body of English tourist, Anne Thirlwell, who died at an inn here over the weekend.

The body of the 36 year old was autopsied yesterday, but doctors said they would not announce the results for three or four days.

"A further laboratory examination is needed to confirm the cause of death," one the doctors, Lisjarwan, said.

Police said that Thirlwell, traveling alone, was found dead at Yosi inn on Jl. Kebon Jati on Saturday night.

Police have informed the British Embassy.

Thirlwell booked into the inn last Thursday. She told an inn worker she was sick but did not say what she was suffering from. (amd)
