Embassy encouraging tourism in Indonesia

Thank you for publishing a photo of Swiss tourists visiting Borobudur Temple in the Dec. 3 edition despite travel warnings issued by several foreign governments.

Switzerland has always encouraged tourism to Indonesia. Even with a mention in our travel warnings that tourist attacks are possible, we feel that traveling to and within Indonesia is as safe as within Europe and tourist groups and individual travelers from Switzerland will continue to visit your beautiful country.
