Elephant training camp prepared

BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: An elephant training center will be
built near a popular youth camping ground at the nearby Wan
Abdulrahman recreation forest.

Chief of the Lampung and Bengkulu office of the Ministry of
Tourism, Post and Telecommunication H.A. Suprijadi said last week
that the total area designed for the camping ground was 30
hectares, while the area for the training center had yet to be
decided, Antara reported.

He said that the funds used for the construction of the
camping ground had reached Rp 556 million of the total Rp 1.5
billion needed. (par)
