Elementary teachers need fairer deal

University lecturers and high school, elementary and kindergarten teachers get their salaries every month commensurate with their respective ranks, which is fair and rational.

But there is one thing I don't understand. That is, the functional allowance that university lecturers are entitled to is much bigger than that paid to teachers at institutions lower than university level. I find this difference unfair and irrational.

Let's consider the following matters.

Which is more burdensome, teaching at elementary school or at university? My answer to this question is definitely: teaching in elementary school. This is clear from the fact that a lecturer teaches two or three days in a week. On the other hand, elementary school teachers are required to work six days a week. So, it is only natural that elementary teachers should get higher allowances than they receive now.

Which is more important, elementary school teachers or university lecturers? I would say both of them are important.

Should we think that teaching at elementary schools does not require the scientific approach that lecturing does? To the best of my knowledge, any teaching needs the same scientific approach.

Based on the above considerations, I suggest to the government to increase the functional allowance for teachers at institutions below university level, so the difference between the two allowances is not so remarkable. In this way, social jealousy can also be eliminated.
