Electric 'wayang' performance

This is a correction to "Wayang performance shows art in new
light" (The Jakarta Post, March 26, 1999).

The March 13 premiere of the performance Wayang listrik --
Tirtha Amertha (Electric Wayang -- Holy Water) was sponsored by
the Dyatmika Sekar Bawana foundation. The Dyatmika Elementary
School (SD) is not "particularly for expatriate children" but
rather an Indonesian, bilingual school. As a nonprofit foundation
committed to Indonesian and Balinese arts, SD Dyatmika has held
three benefits featuring a cultural performance. This year, the
school raised funds for its Wantilan, a traditional structure to
be used for performing arts, sports and assemblies.

As Dyatmika SD aims to be a model school on the island of
Bali, we would be delighted if the Post would feature more about
our unique education offerings and approaches, including our
cultural arts and environmental program.
