Eight die of dengue fever

SEMARANG: Dengue fever attacked 476 people here during April
to October, killing eight.

Dr. Hadi Wibowo, head of the Semarang office of the Ministry
of Health, said the number of fatalities was lower than last year
when dengue fever hit 1,901 people and killed 25 people.

Particularly prone to dengue fever are the subdistricts of
Ngaliyan, Tambak Aji, Pedurungan, Plamongansari and Tembalang.
