Economists to play tennis

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Economists Association will stage
its tenth tennis tournament at the Senayan tennis complex next
week.

The tournament, in which 400 of its member economists will
participate, will be opened on Aug. 1 by the chairman of the
Indonesian Tennis Association, Sarwono Kusumaatmadja.

Chairman of the organizing committee Beddu Amang said
yesterday that the tournament, which will provide trophies and
money prizes, is open to all students at economic colleges. The
tournament, which runs through Aug. 4, will feature age group
events split into men's and women's competitions. (yan)
