Ecohydrology center to open soon

JAKARTA: The Indonesian Institute of Sciences, in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), is preparing an international center on ecohydrology, to be built in Cibinong, West Java, next year.

Called the Asia-Pacific Center for Ecohydrology, the institution will be the second of its kind after that in Poland. A third center will also be built soon in Argentina.

The center will conduct research on water issues. -- JP
