E. Timor to publish book
DILI, East Timor: The provincial administration plans to publish a book on development progress in the territory to mark Indonesia's 50th anniversary of independence in August.
Spokesman Rajakarina Brahmana told the Antara news agency yesterday that the book, to be called East Timor, 19 Years of Development, would consist of complete data on development in the youngest province.
"The book is expected to provide information on what the government has achieved in 19 years, since the territory's integration into Indonesia," he said.
The project is being sponsored by the provincial civil service corps and is currently at the stage of "data compilation", he said. (swe)
