JAKARTA: Ceramics lovers in the capital will be able to appreciate the excellent work of four Dutch artists Harmen Brethouwer, Johan van Loon, Leen Quist and Piet Stockmans at the Ceramics and Porcelain Exhibition at the Erasmus Huis on Jl. HR Rasuna Said Kav. S3, South Jakarta.

The exhibition will also feature ceramic and porcelain sculptures made by Nicolas Dings, Gert Germeraad and Heringa van Kalsbeek. Artist Pauline Wiertz combines objects and sculpture.

The month-long exhibition, opening on Feb. 27, will also display special items from Dutch collections including de Porceleijne Fles made in 1653 by the oldest porcelain factory in Delft. The factory is famous for its signature blue-on-white products. Another piece by Tichelaar Makkum was made in 1594 by the oldest ceramics factory in Makkum, which is also a producer of building materials, bricks and floor tiles.
