Dunia Fantasi's negligence

My husband and I visited Dunia Fantasi (Fantasy World) Amusement Park with our two-and-a-half-year-old child on July 13, 1995. My husband, a foreigner, commented on the cleanliness, the many attractions and the organized rides. All in all, we had a wonderful day out.

At six p.m. we decided to go back home by taxi. There were a few parked across from the entrance, mostly President taxis but also some "Express", "Dian" and others. None of them would use their meters but demanded fares twice or even triple the normal rate.

We decided not to support their bad habits and ventured out to the main street to find a regular taxi. Crossing the busy road was not easy, especially with a child in a buggy. We managed to join some other people already gathered along the road, we assumed, for the same purpose. Hardly three minutes later my husband felt his (not very expensive) gold necklace being ripped off his neck from behind. My husband turned around to be confronted with a thief threatening him with a knife. It all happened very quickly and the robber escaped across the muddy fields.

Why are there no proper taxi stands installed at the exit/entrance of Dunia Fantasi?

Does the management of Dunia Fantasi care about the safety of their clients after having paid the expensive entrance fee?

Why do the authorities concerned not act upon the well known taxi situation?

At the airport they have proper taxi stands, major hotels organize taxis for their clients, so when is a large and well- known company such as Dunia Fantasi going to do likewise?
