'Drug dealers' arrested in Bogor

BOGOR (JP): Local police arrested two alleged drug dealers on Friday in an alley in Menteng, west Bogor, for possession of ecstasy.

The two suspects, identified as A and L, admitted to trafficking drugs in Bogor for quite some time, Bogor Police chief Col. Hari Setyabudi said.

"With this arrest, this week we've nabbed a total of four alleged drug dealers belonging to the same group. We also seized a total of one kilogram of marijuana, one ounce of crystal methamphetamine and dozens of ecstasy pills," Hari said.

Hari called on local residents, including parents, to be on the lookout for drug trafficking in their areas.

Separately, police arrested two alleged drug dealers in Bogor. The two were identified as Ru, who is a lawyer, and RA. RA was arrested in Ciomas subdistrict.

The men admitted to buying drugs in North Jakarta and then selling the drugs to high school and university students in Bogor, Hari said. (21/24/edt)
