Drug dealer nabbed in raid

DENPASAR, Bali: Police in Badung, some 15 kilometers south of
here, arrested an alleged drug dealer, Fakhrudin, and his female
partner, Mery Maryani, during a raid on his rented house on
Wednesday afternoon in the renowned coastal tourist resort of
Kuta.

Badung Police chief of detectives Snr. Insp. Husein Abubakar
said police found 10 grams of heroin wrapped in 30 ready-to-sell
packs in the house.

Husein said the raid was conducted following a tip-off about
Fakhrudin's activities by some residents in the housing complex .
Several undercover police watched the house for a couple of days
before the bust.

Fakhrudin and Mery were found filling small packs with heroin
when police broke in. (zen)
