Dream Team in Junior Open

JAKARTA (JP): Members of the Dream Team -- National Master
(MN) Susanto Megaranto, who just earned his FIDE Master in Brunei
Darussalam, MN Taufik Halay, MN Tirta Chandra and Percasi (the
Indonesian Chess Association) Master Andrean Susilodinata -- will
be competing at the Junior Chess Open Tournament.

The tournament, which is offering Rp 2.8 million (US$300) in
prize money, will take place on Sunday at the Galangan VOC Cafe
and Gallery on Jl. Kakap no. 1, North Jakarta, and use the 25-
minute rapid chess system in five rounds.

The one-day event will be divided into three age groups
comprising under-10, under-14 and under-20. The organizers will
limit the number of participants within each age group.

Percasi spokesman Kristianus Liem called on participants to
bring along two books that will be donated to refugees in Aceh.
