DPPK beats BNI in Livoli

JAKARTA (JP): DPPK managed to end its losing streak by beating
Bank BNI on Thursday, the fourth day of the second leg of the
2000 Samator Indonesian Volleyball League (Livoli) at the Senayan
Basketball Hall, Central Jakarta.

DPPK beat Bank BNI in a tight match of 26-24 ,30-28, 25-27,
25-23 in the men's division. After losing their opening game,
Perhutani bounced back to beat PLN 16-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Bandung-based DLLAJ defeated Apacinti 25-18, 25-22,
25-21.

In the women's division, the Indonesian Military (TNI)
Headquarters managed to beat PLN after losing the first game 21-
25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-20. Perhutani, also losing the first game,
beat Popsivo 24-26, 25-21, 25-20, 25-18. And Gresik-based
Petrogres beat Yuso of Yogyakarta 25-11, 23-25, 25-14, 25-16.
