Dossier on triple murder

JAKARTA (JP): The City Police Force will hand over the dossier on the Los Angeles triple murder case, the main suspect of which is Harnoko Dewantono, alias Oki, to the Central Jakarta Prosecutor's Office later this month.

"The police want to turn in the dossier on the L.A. triple murder as soon as possible," City Police Spokesman Lt. Col. Bambang Haryoko told The Jakarta Post.

Oki, 30, who was sentenced to two years' imprisonment on Wednesday for passport forgery, has been charged for his alleged role in the killing of his business partners Gina Sutan Aswar, an Indonesian, and Suresh Mirchandani from India, and his brother, Eri Triharto Darmawan, in Los Angeles.

The three decaying corpses of the victims, believed to have been killed separately in 1991 and 1992, were found together in a storage locker and identified late last year. (29)
