Don't blame the nightspots

This is with regard to the recent spate of attacks on nightspots.

Don't the attackers realize the number of people who will be out of work and unable to have a fruitful Idul Fitri due to lack of money? (the nightspots will not pay salaries if they are closed).

They complain about poverty in Indonesia and claim higher moral values but their own actions are detrimental to the economy and people of this country. Have they asked any of the employees in these so-called sinful places if they wanted to be out of work?

On a final note, most of these places cater to non-Muslims and even if Muslims do frequent these places, it is not because they are forced. We are not under Islamic Law, they are free to do what they want, when they want. If you are a good Muslim and disagree with activities in these types of places, there is a simple solution: Do not go!
