Diva wins PKT export bid

JAKARTA: PT Diva Trasindo won on Tuesday an open bid to export
15,000 tons of fertilizer from PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (PKT) at
a proposed price of US$257.20 per ton.

Diva will sign the free-on-board (FOB) deal for the export of
urea granule fertilizer with PKT on Wednesday. Other bidders
included PT Indevco Internusa, PT Divanka Niaga Mandiri, PT
Bintang Baja, PT Liven Indonesia, PT Graha Curah Niaga, PT
Limardi Trading Nusantara, PT Urbantara Karya and PT Parna Raya.

PKT received a license from the Ministry of Trade to export
250 million tons of fertilizer until September this year.

The price of urea granule fertilizer on the international
market is currently $260 per ton, down from between $275 and $280
several months ago. --Antara
