Disappointed by Studio 21

According to The Jakarta Post's film guide of June 27, 2001, the movie Valentine was to be screened at 9:55 p.m. at Hollywood KC on Jl. Gatot Subroto, Jakarta. So we went to the theater after making plans with some friends to meet us there. However, when we arrived, we were shocked to learn that the movie was no longer running.

The worst part of this disappointing rendezvous, after traveling halfway across the city at such a late hour, is that this was not the first time such a thing has happened. We have gone through this four or five times before, and apparently several of my friends have had the same experience too.

Studio 21 Group should at least publish accurate movie schedules, especially when using reputable newspapers like the Post. Unless, of course, this is all part of an elaborate plot to lure people to the theater and force them to see relatively lesser-known movies, just to make their trips worthwhile. Truly Hollywood style conspiracy this would be.
