Diarrhea hits North Barito regency

MUARA TEWEH, Central Kalimantan: Diarrhea has been affecting
North Barito regency, Central Kalimantan province, since earlier
this month, affecting dozens of children and killing one of them.

At least 63 children had been admitted to the Muara Teweh
Regency Hospital since the epidemic struck the regency.

Murdoyo Rahmanoe, the acting director of the hospital, said
that the affected children were aged between the ages of three
months and 2.8 years. -- Antara
