Diana: The touch of an angel

Death is something usual and always part of our life, but when it comes to the tragic death of Diana, Princess of Wales, it becomes an "unusual" thing. I only realized how important she was to the world after her death. She's not only a beautiful, down-to-earth, kind and compassionate lady, but she's also a lady with the touch of an angel.

Her death somehow brought my family closer together. Before, my relationship with my family wasn't that close, each of us living in separate ways. We all were shocked when we heard the news of the princess' death on Sunday morning. It seemed that this news had the magnetic power to draw us together in the living room where we hardly ever sat together. My parents, my brother and sister and I sat in silence as though hypnotized by the event, and from then on we continued to follow the live coverage of Diana's news from all TV stations in our living room. We shared our grief with each other for the first time.

We had never in fact met the princess and she was just an ordinary soul. But after her death we believe she was no "ordinary" woman. She was a woman of great fortune, she could be anything, but she chose to remain modest and to keep a low profile. Indeed, she was simply a "lady with the touch of an angel."
