Diana raises millions for the poor

Mr. S. Natarajan's letter of Sept. 5 has a nasty sound to it.

We should never be unkind to the dead as they are unable to defend themselves.

Many people around her made millions because of her. Hewitt, the cad, who supposedly loved and consoled the princess made millions by publishing a book detailing their romance. The disgusting paparazzi made millions by selling very private photos of the princess to the highest bidder. Souvenir stalls made millions. The list is long. Diana obviously loved Charles and Hewitt deeply but she was betrayed by both. I feel extremely grateful to Dodi Fayed, who made the princess happy in what turned out to be the final days of her life.

Yes, she became famous after marrying Prince Charles, but fortune she did not need as she comes from a reasonably well-off family. I do not think any other woman marrying Prince Charles now will be as famous.

God blessed the princess with beauty. If the beauty of Helen of Troy managed to launch a thousand ships, the beauty and fame of Princess Diana managed to raise millions for the poor and needy.

The princess did not mind shaking hands with people and cuddling children suffering from the most terrible diseases that exist in this world. Princess Diana is and will always remain even in death "Queen of the people's hearts". She will go into history as the most beautiful, spontaneous and glamorous princess that ever walked this earth. May her soul rest in peace.
