Diagram II

Thank you for publishing my article on the KPU in the Nov. 18, 2000, edition of your paper. However, I would like to make a correction to Diagram II.

The National Election Committee (PPI, and its accompanying secretariat) between the General Election Commission (KPU) and PPD I should be eliminated when regional autonomy takes place, whereby the implementation of the elections will be conducted directly by the Provincial Election Commission (PPD I). I did not explain this explicitly in the text -- for this, my apologies.
