DHL, National Gobel sign deal

JAKARTA (JP): PT Birotika Semesta/DHL Worldwide Express signed
an agreement with PT National Gobel to handle express deliveries
of Gobel's export and import related documents and freight
requirements, DHL said on Thursday.

The agreement, which was signed last week, follows an
evaluation of Gobel by DHL with an eye on developing a customized
solution to improve the company's current export and import
process.

Under the customized solution, DHL will implement its connect
service, which will provide Gobel's departments on-line access to
create shipments and customs documentation as well as to track
shipments.

Gobel is the licensed producer and distributor of Panasonic
appliances and electronics in Indonesia.(03)
