TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Delivery service company, DHL Express, is collaborating with PT Modern Internasional to open the newest DHL Service point outlet near a 7-Eleven store. "We start by operating a service point outlet at 7-Eleven stores in Cilandak," said Ahmad Mohamad, DHL Express Indonesia Senior Technical Advisor in Jakarta,today.
According to Ahmad, the collaboration was a step to introduce DHL services at 7-Eleven stores. “Not only can we reach more customers through the 7-Eleven network, but we can also provide an easier access for our customers to our various services,” he said.
He said that with the collaboration, DHL Express will open 20 new DHL service points in Jakarta next year. “We offer drop-off locations that are easy to be reached by customers wanting to send documents or express packages overseas and in Indonesia,” Ahmad said.
PT Modern Internasional Director, Lim Djwe Khian, said the collaboration was a form of commitment from his company to always make innovations and improve service. “Besides providing various products, we are also offering solutions to express deliveries in a very comfortable environment,” Lim said. DHL Express now has 39 service points in Indonesia, including in Jakarta, Denpasar, Batam, Sorong, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Solo, and Surabaya.
