Devoted services
I arrived at Soekarno-Hatta airport from Miami via Frankfurt by Lufthansa, flight number LH778 on the evening of Jan. 5, 1999. At the baggage collection belt, I noticed that one of my bags was missing. When I approached the airport staff at the belt, I was promptly directed to the Lost and Found counter.
I met with the staff concerned and she suggested that I should wait for a couple of minutes to know the position. She confirmed to me within a couple of minutes that my bag had been left out at Frankfurt and it would arrive by the same flight on Jan. 6, 1999. As suggested by her, I signed a formal complaint letter and handed it over to her.
On the afternoon of Jan. 6, I received a phone call from the airline office that my bag was on the flight and it would be arriving that evening. They wanted to know whether I would like to collect the bag or wanted it to be delivered at my place. I said I would be happy if it could be delivered at my place. I could not believe it when the bag was delivered to my place at 1 a.m. (Jan. 7).
I would like to express my deep appreciation for the prompt and devoted services of all concerned.
