Detikcom launches new channel

JAKARTA (JP): Local leading portal Detikcom announced on
Friday a new business and financial channel on its website to
cater to the needs of the business community.

It said in a statement the channel had been operating since
July 26.

The new channel provides information on macro economy, stock
and money markets, bond, mutual fund, forex, consumer finance,
bank, insurance, consultancy.

It said some of the contents were prepared by its staff, while
stock and forex data were provided by Reuters; mutual fund and
bond data by the Surabaya Stock Exchange.

Some experts, such as capital-planning expert Safir Senduk,
tax expert Prijohandojo, insurance expert Muhaimin Iqbal, mutual
fund expert Michael Tjoajadi, who is also the director of PT
Schroder Investment Management, will provide consultancy on the
new channel, Detikcom said. (02)
