Dermo-cosmetics solve skin problems
JAKARTA (JP): The latest offering from RoC is RoC DermatologiC, a range of 12 active, dermo-cosmetic products that combine cosmetics and dermatology, and reduce the side effects of medical treatment. They are created based on the RoC concept of "hypo-allergenic, without perfume, non-comedogenic" products.
The RoC DermatologiC product range also takes specifically into account the demands of dermatologists to help solve deep seated skin disorders. They answer to the needs of sensitive skin consumers, who face lower levels of skin tolerance to increasing levels of pollution and exposure to the sun. The efficiency of the products are tested through laboratories and clinical studies.
Based on research, the three most common skin ailments seen today are the three skin problems that RoC DermatologiC targets -- oily and acne prone skin, very dry and atopic skin, and skin that is extremely intolerant to the sun and to chemical filters.
The six new products to combat moderate acne and oily skin incorporate Elubiol, a patented molecule derived from research. This range includes two companion products to reduce the effects of acne under medical treatment -- Purifying Gel, an antibacterial cleanser, and Soothing Cream, which also has anti- shine and moisturizing properties.
Especially useful in the range for extra dry and fragile skin is Compact, a gentle cleanser without soap. Further protection is offered by Creme AB 5, useful against dry, chapped and cracked skin, and even has anti-stretch mark properties of special use to pregnant women; Cold Cream Fluide, a protective revitalizing lotion; Urexine, an intensive hydrating lotion, also useful for treating the very dry skin of elderly people.
People suffering from photosensitivity (allergy to the sun) are offered Total Sunblock 20 Cream and Total Sunblock 15 Lotion for the face and the body respectively. It protects from a specific allergy to chemical filters as well, and is suitable for very young children.
Along with Clinique and Clarins, RoC is known to Indonesians as providing a range of quality skin care products for body, skin and face care, specially formulated to protect from allergies. RoC's Action Melibiose Anti-Age range was launched in Indonesia in October 1995.
