Denpasar Police nab drug dealer

DENPASAR, Bali: A 24-year-old man was picked up by Denpasar
Police from his rented room on Jl. Pulau Moyo in Pedungan area
with one kilogram of dried marijuana on Saturday.

Denpasar Police chief Sr. Comr. DBM Suharya said on Sunday
that his men found the contraband stashed inside a cardboard box
in Syafei Hasan's rented room in Pedungan, a southern suburb of
Denpasar.

"I think my men were just lucky. They were combing the area to
hunt a burglary suspect in the house, but they ran into three
people who were busy packing marijuana in a room," Suharya said.

The three tried to resist arrest by attacking the officers,
who later overwhelmed them. Unfortunately, the officers managed
to hold only Syafei, while his two other accomplices escaped.
