Delphi IT center opens in Jakarta

JAKARTA: PT Delphi Computech, a leading learning institution for advanced applications in information technology (IT) based in Pune, India, has opened its first IT learning center in Jakarta.

Nico Kristanto, the chairman of PT Delphi Computech Indonesia, which manages the business in Indonesia, said that students graduating from the center would receive international certificates.

"Delphi Computech has trained over 10,000 IT professionals who are now enjoying successful careers in Silicon Valley and Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and around the world," said Nico, adding that all classes would be held in English.

He said with 40 Delphi learning centers in India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, Delphi Computech offers industry-relevant IT courses leading to international certifications from, among others, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Oracle and Cisco.

He said that the demand for IT professionals would significantly increase in line with the rapid growth of IT businesses in the country.

"We predict that the demand for IT professionals in the next five years will reach 600,000 people," he said, adding that more centers would be opened in Surabaya, Bandung and Denpasar. --JP
