Debate on embassy fence continues

In reference to the Vienna Convention it should be read in its entirety and not taken out of context to attempt to construct a puerile illogical argument.

It goes on to state that: "The receiving state is under a special duty to take all appropriate steps to protect the premises of the mission against any intrusion or damage and to prevent any disturbance of the peace of the mission or impairment of its dignity".

Not only is this statement quite specific in its meaning, but it will be easily found through an Internet search that international legal precedence is widespread and overwhelming. Namely, "Foreign embassies and consulates are generally accepted as the sovereign territory of their countries and are protected by international law."

I have forwarded more than a dozen international articles and links to The Jakarta Post for public perusal.

Bottom line -- Build the wall!
