On June 18, 1994 at about 7 p.m. there was a road accident in
which a passenger bus going to Java from Sumatra collided with a
motorcycle on a trans-Sumatra road. The exact location was in
Gunung Liwat village, Ogan Komering Ulu regency, South Sumatra.

The motorcyclist, who was my own brother, was instantly killed
in that accident. It was a most horrible accident I have ever
seen in my life. His body was cut into two parts and the
motorcycle was completely totaled.

The driver of the bus, however, left the victim on the road
and pledged he was not responsible for the accident. We would
appreciate if any of the bus passengers could inform us of the
police registration number of the bus by contacting: Drs. Abadi,
