Dark Sky

In case our ways
are parted along the line
In case you stop caring
allow me to be the one
to say how much you mean to me

I want you to know
that just a simple hello from you
would light up the darkest sky

And if ever comes the day
when that sky remains dark
and leaves me all alone in the darkness
I have to let you go and remain strong
Until the sun comes to light the day
and warm the cold and emptiness
you leave behind
