Dangdut music in Ancol

JAKARTA (JP): The National Committee for the Indonesia's
golden anniversary will hold a dangdut music show in Ancol, North
Jakarta, this evening.

This year's show is completely different from performances in
the past and will be the biggest ever held, the committee stated,
adding that the show will feature 30 noted artists and musicians
who will also perform in unison.

The show will be used by the dangdut artists and musicians to
express their gratitude to both the government and the Indonesian
people.

Moreover, the event is a planned show of appreciation for
dangdut music and its historical values. (hhr)
