Dance performance at GKJ

Indonesia's Kreativitat Dance will perform One Fine Line, a
choreography by Canadian Maxine Heppner at Gedung Kesenian
Jakarta (GKJ) on May 27 and May 28.

The dance is based on research by neurologist Tim Kennedy, who
studied how the human brain transforms experiences into memory.

One subject of the dance will be the experience of the tsunami
survivors.

Directed by Farida Oetoyo, the troop will also perform Woman
by Yudistira Syuman and Ode untuk ASA by Chendra Effendy.

Ode untuk ASA is a sequel of Chendra's first work ASA that won
the GKJ Award in 1998.

This is the 16th collaboration between Heppner and Kreativitat
Dance.
