Damai Indah wins interclub golf

JAKARTA (JP): Boyke Supian sank lackluster double pars three
times, but his partnership with Damai Indah teammates Daniel
Baladhika and Eddy Sutrisno proved to be superior at the 18th
Johnnie Walker interclub golf championships on Sunday.

The trio from Jakarta scored 199 to win the trophy and tickets
to the International Golf Club Championships in Taipei to be held
on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3. The Kendari Sanggoleo club, from Southeast
Sulawesi, finished second and Bogor golf club finished third.

"It's a surprise. We never thought we could win this
tournament after the three below-standard shots," Boyke said
afterwards.

Eighteen of the 30 clubs in the Indonesian Golf Association
took part in the tournament which was held at the Pondok Indah
