Do you want to start the day with a smile? I strongly urge you
to read the Jakarta Post every morning. Where else can you find
the news that a person is "the mother of two sons, one daughter,
and 100 orangutans?" (June 6, 1997, page 1).

We understand what this statement means but one can't miss the
humor.

I thought the shareholders of a company are its owners and
would be duly invited to attend a general meeting, and not
summoned. But a company in Indonesia issues "summons to
shareholders" (June 6, 1997, Ad on page 12). A court can demand
attendance of a person by means of summons. The word should have
been "invitation".

If you really wish to have a "massage of mind", there is a
regular column in a classified ads. It seems there is no sickness
in the world which can't be treated and cured by a simple
massage. At times, the advertisers even give you very special
hidden "message", if only you choose to read between the lines.
